Granny Smith

Description

Granny Smith is a multi-purpose apple. Can be eaten fresh, used in tarts, served in a salad, cider making and juicing. Shelf life and storage is also a bonus. It is very firm with lots of juice and lemon-like acidity with just enough sweetness. Granny Smith is also known as one of the few apple varieties that don’t brown quickly once cut.

Pollination partners include: Cevaal, Elstar, James Grieve.
