Golden Delicious is an eating apple with an appealing sweet taste especially for children. The apples are a golden yellow colour when fully ripe. The skin is thinner than most other varieties. The benefit of growing your own Golden Delicious is that It has a slight honey flavour which is not found in shops as the flavour is lost during transportation when importing.
